FAQ - Account and registration

You aren’t able to register? Have you forgotten your login details? Find the answers to all our players’ most frequently asked questions about account and registration.

Do you have to register to play at Circus?

If you aren’t registered, you have the option to play a demo game with a limited fictitious credit to see the quality of our online games. However, you can’t play or bet with real money and you therefore can’t win money or coins for the Circus Club.

By creating your account at Circus, you can continue to play in demo mode, meaning with fictitious money, as long as you want to practice or just for fun. In addition, you can play with real money as if you are in a real casino.

How can I register at Circus?

Registering at Circus is easy! Simply click on the “Register” button. Then, fill in your details (first name, last name, email address, etc.), choose a username and password and set your preferences.

You can also fill in your personal details in a few clicks with the itsme® application.

Then what? Start to play and try to win the jackpot by making a first deposit. To learn how to do this, read our guide for depositing at Circus.

How old do I need to be to play at Circus?

You must be at least 18 years old to get access to the Sports section and at least 21 years old to get access to the Casino section.

  • If you are younger than 18, you aren't allowed to register at Circus.
  • If you are between 18 and 21 years old, you can register at Circus but you only get access to our Sports section.
  • If you are older than 21, you get access to our Sports section as well as our Casino section.
I can’t find my country in the registration form. Why?

Residents of certain countries are not authorized to register at Circus. If your country doesn’t appear in the list of residence countries available in the registration form, this means that unfortunately you are not legally allowed to register on our website.

Which professions are banned from gaming?

People carrying out certain professions, such as notaries, magistrates, bailiffs and police officers, are not allowed to gamble and can therefore not register on this online gaming and betting site. By creating your account, you certify that you do not have one of these professions and respect the legislation in force in your country.

For more information about the professions banned from gaming, we invite you to read the Gambling Act of 7 May 1999.

Do I have to pay to register at Circus?

No. Registration on our online gaming and sports betting site is completely free.

Once registered, you can start to play even without credit by selecting demo mode. However, to win real money, you must stake with real money and therefore make a deposit. To learn how to do this, read our guide for depositing at Circus.

I'm not able to register at Circus. What should I do?

If you aren’t able to register, you might already have Circus account? As a 100% legal website certified by the Belgian Gaming Commission, we place great importance on respecting the legislation in force. Therefore, it is prohibited to have several accounts at Circus.

Have you forgotten your login details? Click on “Forgotten your password?” in the “Log in” menu and enter your email address. If you are already registered on our website, you will receive a link to choose a new password and recover your account.

If this isn’t the case and you still aren’t able to register, please contact our customer service.

How and why do I need to authenticate my account?

Authenticating your account is a legal obligation dictated by the Belgian Gaming Commission. As a 100% legal website, Circus respects this obligation.

When registering, you must provide us with your personal information. These details are checked by our teams. You will then be invited to provide us with identification documents that will allow us to authenticate your account.

If you registered using the itsme® application, the authentication will be done automatically. Therefore, you won’t have to send any documents.

I have been asked to send documents to authenticate my account. Can I send them securely?

Of course! Authenticating your account is a legal obligation dictated by the Belgian Gaming Commission.

As a 100% legal website, Circus places great importance on respecting the privacy and confidentiality of your data. Therefore, you can send us your documents without any worries. For more information, check out our Privacy Policy (PDF).

How long will it take for my account to be authenticated?

Once you have sent us the necessary documents, our teams will verify them. This takes on average 24 hours during our customer service opening hours. For your security, you might be asked to send additional documents to ensure the accuracy of your details. The processing time is therefore likely to vary as a result.

Can I have several Circus accounts?

No. The legislation prohibits having several accounts on the same gambling website. This is why you must provide us with your national registration number when you register.

I’ve forgotten my username or password. How can I retrieve them?

To retrieve your username or password, click on “Forgotten your password” in the “Log in” menu and enter the email address linked to your account. You will then receive a link to choose a new password and recover your account.

If you haven’t received an email, check your spam folder or junk mail. If the email is also not in your spam or junk mail, or you have forgotten the email address linked to your Circus account, please contact our customer service.
