Do I need to register to play at Circus?

You can test all the games on this website by playing a 10 minute demo game with limited credit. After 10 minutes the game will end automatically.

When you create an account at Circus, you can still play all our games in demo mode. You can do so as long as you want, to practise or just for fun.

When you create an account at Circus, you can also play with real money, just like in an actual gaming room or casino. You can then deposit money into your account using various secure online payment methods and withdraw your winnings to your bank account or in a Circus branch. To register on this online gaming and sports betting website, you just need to click the button ‘create my account’ and fill in the form.

Why isn't my country included in the country list on the registration form?

You are not allowed to create a Circus account if you live in certain countries.

Due to the legislation in force in some countries, you might not be allowed to register at Circus. If your country of residence doesn’t appear in the country list available on the registration form, this means that you’re not allowed to register at Circus as you need to provide a valid address to do so.

Do I need to authenticate my account when I register at Circus?

The authentication of your account is a legal obligation imposed by the Gaming Commission.

When you register, you are asked to enter your personal details. This information is then verified by our team members. We may get in touch to ask for your identification documents to finish your account authentication.

So there’s no need to send us your documents if we haven’t asked for them.

Is Circus a legal online gaming and sports betting website?

Yes, Circus has been authorised by the Belgian Gaming Commission and is therefore a legal provider of online casino games and sports bets.

Which licenses are available on Circus?

  • License A+ - Casino games
    The A license is required to operate a casino in Belgium. The maximum number of licenses for Belgian territory is set at 9, which is also the number of casino’s currently operated in Belgium. The operator of an A license must request an additional license from the A+ class to offer casino games as well.
  • License B+ - Slot machines
    The B license is required to operate a gaming room with automatic games. The Gaming Commission may distribute a maximum of 180 on Belgian territory. Holders of a B-class license must apply for a B+ license to offer games of chance on the internet.
  • License F+ - Sports betting
    The organization of bets and sports betting requires an F license (F1 & F2). The F+ license also allows you to organize online sports betting.
Which professions are not allowed to play?

In accordance with current legislation, notaries, police officers, etc. are not allowed to play games for money and are therefore not allowed to register on this online gaming and sports betting website. How old do I need to be to play at Circus?

Being a Belgian citizen, on which gaming websites can I play?

What is the difference between playing with real credit and playing in demo?

When you play with real credit, you play with real money which you have deposited into your account. In this gaming mode you can withdraw your winnings.

When you play in demo mode, you play with virtual money and it's not possible to withdraw your winnings.

How can I place a sports bet?

To place a sports bet, all you have to do is create a betting slip with the bet(s) that you like.

A ‘betting slip’ is a coupon that contains information about the bet(s) confirmed by the player. It can contain one or more bets.

A ‘single betting slip’ is a betting slip that contains only one bet. If the bet that was made by the player is correct, the betting slip is correct as well. The winnings of a single betting slip are calculated by multiplying the stake by the odds linked to the chosen bet.

A ‘multi betting slip’ is a betting slip that contains between two and eight different bets which all need to be correct in order to have a winning betting slip. If a single bet is incorrect, the entire betting slip is incorrect. The ‘combination’ also shows in the calculation of the total odds on the betting slip and its potential winnings. These are calculated by multiplying the stake by the total of the different odds on the betting slip.

A ‘system betting slip’ is a special betting slip that contains a selection of three to eight different bets.

It’s the most complete betting slip that exists. In fact, on a system betting slip you can accumulate the equivalent of numerous betting slips from your selection. You can bet in combinations as well as partial combinations.

What types of tournaments does Circus offer?
  • Monthly tournament: from the 1st to the last day of the month, you can take part in the tournament for a €5 registration fee. Great prizes and bonuses can be won.
  • Weekly tournament: this tournament is available for a week from 02:00 a.m. on Monday to 01:59 a.m. on Sunday for just a €5 registration fee. At stake: Brilliant prizes and bonuses are up for grabs.
  • Daily tournaments: every day, register and take part in our two free tournaments: the “free morning tournament” and the “free afternoon tournament”. Every morning from 09:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., and every afternoon from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., there is €100 to play for, a total of €200 to be shared!
  • Evening tournaments: for a €2 fee, there is €500 cash and bonus money at stake every evening between 6:00 p.m. and 22:00 p.m.
  • Night tournament:
    10:00 p.m.: Night tournament 100 with €100 bonus to be shared
    11:00 p.m.: Night tournament 200 with €300 bonus to be shared
    12:00 a.m.: Night tournament 300 with €300 bonus to be shared

How does a tournament on Circus work?
  • What is a rebuy or an add-on?
    A rebuy allows you to start a new game so that you can be ranked again. An add-on allows you to continue the game and keep your points and progress in the rankings.
  • How long does a tournament last?
    A tournament lasts for 10 minutes and ends even if you have credit remaining. The tournament can also end if you run out of credit, but there is time remaining.
  • How am I ranked?
    When you play in a tournament, the points won in a tournament game will be used to rank you. The ranking is only final once the tournament has ended.
  • Can I appear in the rankings several times? If so, how?
    Yes, because some tournaments allow one or more rebuys. You can find this information under the General tab for the tournament selected.
  • What can I win during a tournament?
    During tournaments, there are various things to be won such as prizes, cash or bonuses.
  • How do I receive my winnings?
    Bonuses are automatically credited to your account 10 - 30 minutes after the tournament ends, while prizes are sent out within a month. In the case of large prizes, you will be contacted by a member of our Prize team with all the necessary information. If this doesn’t happen, you can contact the relevant department through [email protected]
  • How long does it take to receive the bonus or cash?
    Tournament winnings are usually awarded 10 - 30 minutes after the tournament ends.
  • Can I play in tournaments via my mobile device?
    Yes, you can sign up for tournaments via our online website using your mobile device (not currently possible using our mobile app).
  • What happens in the event of a tie?
    When you earn the same number of points as one or more other players, you receive the same ranking and the winnings are shared between the winners.
What should I do if I haven't received my CLUB gift?

It all depends on the gift you ordered! Here are some tips to take into account with our CLUB gifts:

  • The delivery times of our physical gifts are at least 6 weeks;
  • The Giftbox is only available from the 1st to the 7th of each month;
  • You can turn the Status Wheel only once per status;

What should I do if I’m addicted to gambling?

Legal limit of €500

Since 6 April, the Belgian Gaming Commission has asked players to report any site that does not respect the rules concerning the deposit limit, and specifies that "no increase in this limit can be granted at this time". wishes to apply this rule, however without penalising players, as the situation is due to the Belgian Gaming Commission’s inability to set up a verification system with the Belgian Central Individual Credit Register despite the fact that a period of 18 months has elapsed since the publication of the Belgian Royal Decree on 25 October 2018.

Therefore, so as not to penalise those players who wish to do so, players that make the request and that can prove via the documents available on the Belgian Central Individual Credit Register that they are not in default of payment, will be able to increase their deposit limit beyond €500, in accordance with the Belgian Royal Decree of 25 October 2018.

In this context:

  • If you are already registered on our website and have already deactivated your "legal" limit, nothing changes for you. If you wish to do so, you way reactivate the "legal" limit on your personal settings page. To deactivate this limit again later, you must provide us with proof that you are not registered on the Belgian Central Individual Credit Register for default of payment.
  • The law imposes a deposit limit of 500 euros per week. Players can freely increase this limit given a reflection period of 3 days, and provided that the player is not known to be in default of payment in the file of the Belgian national Bank’s Central Individual Credit Register (art. 6 of the Royal Decree of 25 October 2018).
  • This can be easily done via the Deposit page or from the account settings.
  • If you have just registered on our website and you wish to deactivate your "legal" limit, you must provide us with proof that you are not registered on the Belgian Central Individual Credit Register for default of payment.
  • If you live outside the Kingdom of Belgium, you are not subject to this check. If you decide, or have decided, to deactivate the "legal" limit, you undertake in doing so to play in a responsible manner and accept that we cannot be held liable due to the fact that it is impossible for us to comply with the aforementioned Royal Decree.

Furthermore, we would like to remind you that our website offers you the possibility to set personal limits per day, week or month. Once a limit is set, it can only be modified after a period of 72 hours to help you play responsibly.
